RCS-6689™ is the first non-metallic slider-bed conveyor system made specifically for material handling applications employing RFID (radio-frequency identification) identification and tracking systems. Transparent at All RFID Frequencies Brandonite® has been certified for RFID systems because of its superior performance for attenuation and reflectivity, thereby allowing RFID antennae to accurately read and discriminate RFID chips on fast-moving conveyor systems. Since these composite materials are virtually transparent to UHF and 13.5 gHz frequencies, users can use lower power settings, thereby increasing read-rate accuracy and greatly reducing backscatter and overlapping signals and responses.
