December 21, 2002 Press Release KFGI COMPLETES DELIVERY OF NON-METALLIC RFID-FRIENDLY CONVEYORS AT BOSTON LOGAN AIRPORT Company Delivers 40 RCS-6689™ Conveyors to Support Airport's RFID Efforts DALLAS, TX-- Kalm-Forsythe Global Innovations, Ltd. (KFGI), a developer and manufacturer of high-performance composite components, announced today that it has completed the delivery of 40 RCS-6689™ non-metallic conveyors to Boston's Logan Airport. These conveyors will be used to support the airport's new radio-frequency identification (RFID) baggage screening system, the largest such installation for any U.S. airport. KFGI was selected by all four material handling integrators who were handling the installation of new baggage handling equipment throughout the airport. The company produces RCS-6689™ non-metallic conveyors made from Brandonite™ high-performance composite polymers which has been certified for RFID use due to its superior performance for durability, strength, attenuation and reflectivity. “We are pleased that the marketplace recognizes that our specially designed and fabricated non-metallic conveyor systems meet the stringent performance requirements for RFID material handling applicationse”, said Carl W.
